The Dignity tableware range has been designed specifically to aid those individuals in society living with disabilities such as Alzheimer's and Dementia, and/or anyone who experiences difficulty when handling ordinary crockery. The ease of use of the products, available in three bold cheerful colours (white, green and yellow), can encourage eating and drinking, helping with the maintenance of nutrition and hydration. The range aims to help individuals maintain their independence longer by being able to feed themselves with quality ceramic crockery as opposed to flimsy plastic items, thus preserving people's dignity.

This two handled feeder mug has been designed with larger handles and supportive rims on the lower sides for an easier grip. Having two handles as opposed to one helps even out the weight of the mug and liquid inside, stabilizing drinking activities. The spout acts as a drinking aid, helping to get hydration into people who cannot take large quantities of liquid at a time. This mug will also take a straw to assist the flow of liquid.

Capacity: 9 fl oz

Items are made from Vitrified Earthenware with added Alumina for extra strength, meaning they are less likely to chip or break if dropped. All items in the range are lead free. This product range has been developed by Wade Ceramic's own design studio based on research undertaken, including the work carried out by Stirling University Dementia Services Centre.
